Reporting Instructions

The CSS Inspire Conference will be held at the “Taj” Fleenor Hall, JBSA-Randolph, TX. A component breakout day will be held on the second day of the conference. The address:  “Taj” Fleenor Hall - 1 Washington Cir, JBSA Randolph, TX 78150.

1. COURSE DESCRIPTION: A three-day event and learning experience for total force Commander’s Support Staff personnel from across the globe to educate, share knowledge, discuss common issues, provide/share ideas, and refine processes, while also offering a foundation and network of support.

2. TARGET AUDIENCE: Total force personnel who hold one of the six CSS AFSCs (3F5, 3F0, 3F2, 6F0, UDM, 38F) or that work in the CSS to include civilians.

3. TRAVEL FROM AIRPORT TO RANDOLPH: San Antonio Airport (SAT) is 15 miles away from JBSA- Randolph. Uber is available at JBSA-Randolph. Recommended travel is either by Taxi or by rental car. Directions: Take E Terminal Dr to I- 410 Access Rd/NE Interstate 410 Loop. Take I-410 E, Crestway Rd and FM1976 E to Harmon Dr in Universal City. Continue onto Harmon Dr. Take Main Cir/Northwest Dr to NE Rd in JBSA-Randolph.

4. DUTY DAY: The conference will start at 0800 and end at 1600 each day. Any changes to the schedule will be given to you throughout the conference if needed. The conference will officially end on Thursday 16 May at 1600 hours. Please do not schedule your return flight any earlier than 2000 hours on Thursday 16 May. The allotted return travel day is Friday, 17 May 2024.

5. SAFETY BRIEFING: A safety briefing will be given at the beginning of the event on Tuesday morning. All attendees MUST report to the Taj Hall on Tuesday, 14 May at 0800 for a safety briefing and opening remarks.

6. COMPUTERS: Is not needed during the event but could be used to take notes.

7. UNIFORM OF THE DAY: Attire for the conference is OCPs. Title 5 members attending in a non-military status will wear professional attire.

8. LANDING FEE: When you register utilizing the link, to pay a landing fee of $30.

10. RENTAL CARS: Rental cars are recommended and at the determination of your unit.

11. MEALS: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be available at the JBSA-Randolph Dining Facility, The Wingman Café, Building 860. Meal hours are Breakfast: 6:00am-9:00am, Lunch: 10:30am-1:30pm, and Dinner: 4:30pm-6:30pm. The Base Exchange Food Court and on base also offers restaurants such as Einstein Bros Bagels, Mulligan’s Grill, Parr Club, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Sparetime Grill, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Charlie’s, Subway, and Burger King.

12. MILITARY TREATMENT FACILITY (MTF): The MTF on Joint Base San Antonio Randolph is Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center. The 559th Medical Squadron is a premier outpatient clinic that provides comprehensive health services for nearly 25,000 eligible beneficiaries in the San Antonio area. The address is 221 3rd street West, JBSA-Randolph, TX 78150 if needed.

13. FITNESS CENTER: The Randolph AFB Rambler Fitness Center is a fully equipped gym that is within walking distance (1.5 miles) of the Conference Center. They are open from 0500 – 2100 on weekdays.
